It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. We’ve been celebrating Christmas all month long. We’ve decorated with Christmas trees, and we have been singing Christmas carols during worship. Our Children’s Ministry also sang their little hearts out about Jesus’ birth in their yearly Christmas program.
To continue to grow our Generosity Culture, especially in a season of giving, our Community Groups gave back to our community by buying gifts for families from a nearby elementary school. Thank you to all who contributed, went shopping, and wrapped these gifts!
Our series for the month of December, Hark: Lyrical Theology, has taken us into the theology behind our favorite Christmas songs, taking a deep look into their lyrics. So far, we’ve covered Joy to the World, Noel, and O Holy Night. All messages are online if you’ve missed a Sunday.
We will wrap up the Christmas month on Christmas Eve with a special service at 6 pm. If you’re in town, we hope you can join us as we celebrate our Savior’s birth. Invite friends and family, too. It’s sure to be a joyous time!
Wherever you may be for the holiday, Merry Christmas!
