After I graduated from Concordia University in May 2017, I felt called to live in Lincoln so I could be near my then fiance, Savanah. It was hard. I had nowhere to live, no job prospects and all I knew was that I wanted to be close to her. It was incredible how when I followed God’s prompting to be near her, He opened doors of incredible opportunity. A member of Sower Church and his family invited me to move into their basement; after six weeks of searching for a job I found a position that allowed me to save to be able to provide for my soon-to-be wife; and in December, I married Savanah. God really used my situation to show how much I needed to depend on Him to provide rather than myself.
