For the first time of our church’s history, going back to the beginnings of our first church in 1983 in Lincoln, we are planting a church in Highland, Kansas, led by Pastor Derek Rempe. Derek, along with his wife, Shannon and their son, and baby on the way will partner with the NorthRidge Church Network, churches that exist to “Reach and Equip People for Christ without Borders.” The Highland church will become the sixth church in the network that include the locations of Sabetha and Seneca in Kansas and Falls City, Humboldt, and Peru, all in Nebraska.
We are excited for Derek and Shannon and for the Lord’s leading in seeing a Gospel-centered church established in small town Kansas! Take a few moments to watch the video below and scroll down to how you can help!
How You Can Help:
– For God to open doors for the gospel in Highland
– For God to bring together a core team for the church plant
– For our family during the transition, housing, and baby 2 coming in June
While the Network will help support the church plant financially, there is still a need for outside giving to provide my salary until the church gets established.
For those of you looking to continue partnering with us in this new work, you will need to transfer your giving to NorthRidge Church.
Details for switching giving over: Simply click the “Give” button below, put the amount and frequency, and select Highland campus in the gift details section. Cancel your scheduled donation to Restoration City, or email Derek to cancel (email@example.com). Checks can also be made out to NorthRidge Church with “Highland Pastor” in the memo and sent to 316 Lincoln Street, Sabetha, KS 66534.
