Our Youth Soccer Camp returns for another summer. This is our seventh year of our free youth soccer camp, allowing us to serve the Lincoln community and families by offering free soccer lessons for kids ages 3-13.
DETAILS
The camp will be held the first three Saturdays in June starting June 3rd at 10 am at Speedway Sports Complex (315 Speedway Circle, Field 1C).
Camp will conclude by 11:15 am, allowing kids to enjoy a post-soccer snack. Soccer activities involve warm-ups, drills and lessons, and scrimmages within each group. Kids will be placed in a team based on their age group so that each age group can receive the appropriate level of training. Here are the teams for 2023:
- Blue Bears F.C. for 3-year-olds
- Wave F.C. for ages 4-5
- Lightning Bolts F.C. for ages 6-7
- Sporting F.C. for ages 8-9
- Dynamo F.C. for ages 10-11
- Titans F.C. for ages 12-13
For safety, it is recommended that kids wear cleats and shin guards, but they are certainly not required. Kids do just fine with regular tennis shoes. They may just slip a little easier on the grass. We also ask that parents are present before, during, and after each camp.
