Sower Church is happy to announce our 2022 Youth Soccer Camp. This is our sixth year of this soccer camp, allowing us to serve the Lincoln community and families by offering free soccer lessons for kids ages 3-12.
What you Need to Know
The camp will be held every Saturday in June starting June 4th at 10 am at Speedway Sports Complex (315 Speedway Circle, Field 9).
Camp will conclude by 11:15 am, allowing kids to enjoy a post-soccer snack. Soccer activities involve warm-ups, drills and lessons, and scrimmages within each group. Kids will be placed in a team based on their age group so that each age group can receive the appropriate level of training. Here are the teams for 2022:
- Flash F.C. for ages 3-4
- Brave F.C. for ages 5-6
- Sporting F.C.for ages 7-9
- Dynamo F.C. for ages 10-12
It is recommended that kids wear cleats and shin guards, but they are certainly not required. Kids do just fine with regular tennis shoes. We also recommend that parents are present before, during, and after each camp. You know, in case of an emergency (kids tend to fall sometimes, right?), and for them to be able to go right to their parent(s) when they want to during camp.
