Summer is approaching and so is our FREE Youth Soccer Camp! For the past seven years, this has proven to be an opportunity to serve our community and meet our neighbors, all while kids enjoy learning soccer skills or continue to develop them.

The camp will be held the first three Saturdays in June starting June 1st at 10 am at Speedway Sports Complex (315 Speedway Circle, Field 3).

Camp will conclude by 11:15 am, allowing kids to enjoy a post-soccer snack. Soccer activities involve warm-ups, drills and lessons, and scrimmages within each group. Kids will be placed in a team based on their age group so that each age group can receive the appropriate level of training. Here are the teams for 2024:

• Blue Bears F.C. for 3-year-olds
• Wave F.C. for ages 4-5
• Lightning Bolts F.C. for ages 6-7
• Sporting F.C. for ages 8-9
• Dynamo F.C. for ages 10-12

For safety, it is recommended that kids wear tennis shoes. Cleats and shin guards would be the most ideal, but they are certainly not required. Kids do just fine with regular tennis shoes. They may just slip a little easier on the grass. We also ask that parents are present before, during, and after each camp.
