Sower Throwers, the official name of the softball team who plays in the Lincoln Parks and Recreation league, the team with various members from Sower Church, are hosting a softball tournament this summer!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Hoping to field as many teams as possible, the event is open to everyone at Sower Church and friends! No softball experience is necessary! The tournament will take place on Saturday, July 30 at Mahoney Park (3600 N. 70th St., Lincoln, NE). Games will start at 9:00 am to avoid significant games in the heat.
There will be a picnic around noon. Sack lunches will be provided for those that sign up for one using the registration form. Sack lunch will include sandwich, watermelon, bag of chips, water bottle, and pop/juice. Desserts will be provided by various volunteers.
The picnic will be followed by either a championship game or a Sower Thrower All-Star Game. Alternate activities will also take place, including a relay race, longest throw competition, mother/children softball scrimmage, and more!

We ask that everyone attending, playing in the tournament or coming to watch, registers so that enough food is planned for the event.
